The Recharge | On Creating Resilient Communities & A Healthier Planet

Our guest doesn’t accept that things are the way they are because they should be.

She likes to be future-facing – she believes there is no time like the present to focus on the future of our planet and of generations to come. This is why she pivoted after spending 25 years in digital publishing, marketing, and strategy.

Ana Garcia-Doyle is the Co-founder and Executive Director of the One Earth Collective which harnesses the power of people through vibrant environmental programming, to create resilient communities and a healthier planet. One Earth Collective engages thousands of people annually through three programs: One Earth Film Festival, One Earth Local, and One Earth Youth Voices.

Her 2018 TEDx “Ecology and Equity-What’s Possible” was way ahead of its time, and it’s what everyone is talking about NOW – The environment, diversity, equity, sense of belonging, responsibility, community, and justice.

We are all here for a reason, and knowing the path enables us to make decisions or “brush strokes” that will end in designing a brilliant life.

“Which brush strokes will lead to the painting we envision? And which brush strokes are extraneous?”  – Ana Garcia-Doyle
